An Open Letter To Leo For March 2026
Dear Leo,
I hope things are going well for you. It's been a long time since I wrote last and I hope you will forgive me for my apparent lethargy; but my free time is very limited due to domestic responsibilities. Consequently, I seldom get to write as often as I’d like. However - apologies rendered - lets return to the present. March starts on a very positive note with the Sun in a potentially auspicious trine aspect to mighty Jupiter (the Greater Benefic) and Mercury conjunct Venus (the Lesser Benefic). This I believe will stimulate your desire to initiate intimate communications and rewarding emotional interactions. This is potentially good news for many lonely Leos who are going to make the acquaintance of someone who sets their hearts all aflutter and imbibes their lives with fresh meaning and optimism for a brighter future. Indeed, spreading the net a little wider, so to speak, there could be a general improvement in multiple aspects of your daily routine. To such an extent that if there has been instances of growing animosity amongst some individuals on the periphery of your social circle, this may well be overcome without much effort or further ado. Hurt feelings will be articulated and a solution negotiated with the appropriate apologies rendered and graciously accepted. This will take a lot off your mind and will be especially welcome if it happens to include really close family members.
Monday 2nd March: Reinforcing these auspicious trends is the influence of Venus sextile imaginative and inventive Uranus, whose influence may introduce new and exciting opportunities that may correlate to events that tug at your heart-strings for all the right reasons, and may even do something to ease your financial burdens to some degree. Essentially, the trends for the immediate future are all potentially stimulating and convivial; to such an extent that your social life might become more active and emotionally fulfilling. Indeed, many of my readers will feel invigorated and empowered with a renewed spirit of enthusiasm and vest for life. In short: if your natal horoscope is ‘in sync’ with the current cosmic alignments, then the world’s your oyster. Enjoy!! However, Mars square Uranus suggests a note of caution must be introduced for those Leo of an essentially boisterous, over confident and reckless disposition. Especially if you frequently participate in high impact contact sports, climb mountains, enjoy sky-diving, aqualung diving or - possibly most risky - habitually driving dangerously fast. However, one endeavor is particularly important: I might be wrong but I suspect that a large part of your savings might be turned into hard cash and used to finance a very special milestone in your life like a wedding, Christening, business venture or protracted road trip. Changing tack just a little: The Moon is in the 2nd House (personal feelings) sextile Jupiter in the 12 House (historic parish churches, hospitals, care homes, sacred sites, Spiritual exploration, philosophical speculation, Jungian psychology). This might suggest that emotions of great depth and compassion need to be explored and expressed. Alternatively, you might be engaging in some activity orbiting around or even totally focused upon spiritual, metaphysical, or, religious issues and commitments. These are all very intriguing potentialities to which your personal beliefs - or lack of them - will be a decisive factor. But if you can take the necessary ‘leap of faith’ it will be both life changing and life enhancing. Consequently: “May the Force be with you!”
Sunday 8th March: could be an emotional day for all the right reasons. The Sun is trine the Moon and simultaneously conjunct Mercury. This suggests to me you are going to open up to a family member about some previously taboo issues which may lead to a healthy understanding of some previously misunderstood issues. Clarity begets empathy and a new chapter of understanding. Further extrapolation of additional astrological symbolism suggests that you will feel more optimistic and readily adapt to some emotional, family or domestic challenges. This may - in turn - stabilise some emotional issues and ratify, solidify, some commitments that have become - how can I express it tactfully - ‘a little rough around the edges’. Changing tack a little. Many of you reading these words stand upon the brink of establishing a long lasting friendship or romantic relationship that will transform the very way you think, feel and act. Monday 9th March: The Moon Scorpio 4th house opposes Uranus 10th house. This might correlate to an announcement by a family member of an unplanned pregnancy. This news will be met with applause and hastily arranged celebrations. However, money put away for another purpose might have to be redirected to meet some essential expenditure for the new arrival into the family. In addition, it might be necessary for one individual to sacrifice their free time or hobbies in order to work overtime to earn some badly needed extra cash.This might give someone something to complain about. But let's be honest, they have always enjoyed a good winge. (Yes, you do know who I’m talking about; and “Yes” they’ll never change!).
Thursday 12th march: The Moon square Venus, Saturn and artistic Neptune seems to indicate a lot of hard work and effort is channelled into a really focused attempt to improve the visual impact of your living space. Out will come the paint brushes and wall paper paste. And subsequently, all the hard work will begin. Lucky you. Have fun. Alternatively you could try to play the sympathy card, but wouldn’t that be a little too unprincipled for a noble hearted Leo like you?
Saturday 14th March: A minority of my readers will begin a focused attempt to bring to an end to a period of enforced celibacy. Circumstances have conspired against you - possibly some kind of health issue or medical treatment - has forced you to deny yourself many pleasures other people take for granted. You have been exceptionally resourceful and embraced numerous unforeseen financial challenges that have impacted both your career and domestic situation. But a whole host of astrological significators suggest that you are once again back in control. Indeed, a holiday might be on your mind and you are determined to make up for lost opportunities.
An alternative interpretation of the current astrological symbolism might indicate that you have had to put your own life on hold - so to speak - in order to care for an elderly relative. Furthermore, Pluto adds emotional depth and strength of purpose, thus helping you eliminate that which no longer serves you. Mercury and Mars sharpen communication but it is essential you remain honest and gentle when communicating with those close to you: especially young male adults who might be more emotionally vulnerable than their extravagant macho image suggests. In addition a Venus square Jupiter aspect indicates potential complications or obstacles may be experienced or encountered in some pleasure activities, while Mars trine Jupiter boosts your self confidence and energy. Kinda swings and roundabouts themes developing when it comes to intimate relationships, I guess.
Saturday 21st March: The Sun joins Saturn, promoting structure and self-discipline. This is a time to express your vision in small but practical steps.
