	What is RSS?

If you listen to someone who describes themselves as ‘spiritual’ or ‘holistic’ talk, they’ll cover similar ground, share similar concepts, and by and large believe similar things. Central concepts are that we should try and love everyone. That ‘time’ as we know it is an illusion and that we are all interconnected. I’ve got a lot of time for this chap, he’s pretty eloquent, although when interviewed he has a touch of Narcissus about him – or maybe that’s just the showmanship. It certainly inspires great ridicule and dislike, judging by the comments the public left underneath his article. Whilst reading Anthony Kiedis’s (lead Chilli Pepper and reformed heroin addict) autobiography I recall him saying that ‘addicts were people with low self-esteem who thought the World revolved around them’ I’m paraphrasing, there might have been more swear words in it than that! But in my experience of addicts, people I love; I would say that this fits (them at least) pretty well.

And someone like David Icke for example; he also talks a lot of sense about all of us being more loving to everyone and everything on the planet. Of course he talks about lizards too and I’m not too sure about that. It has the faint whiff of scientology about it, what with lizards, monsters and aliens and scientology is just a bit too culty for me and money orientated. Hang on a minute, that sounds a bit judgemental doesn’t it? Ok I’m sure scientology has lots of good things about it…..and it keeps Tom Cruise and John Travolta off the streets as well!

So in conclusion I say this. I like to read about things that make me go ‘Ooh’. I like to read about people who are funny, irreverent, spiritual pioneers. Read Neale Donald Walsh; Conversations with God should be on the curriculum in schools. Read Many Lives, many masters. Read Your souls plan. Read about the luminaries, the Sun and Moon. Chase the stars!
